Netherland Dwarfs is where my hobby began. In 2003, I bought 2 pet Netherlands from a local pet shop. Unfortunately, both Bandit, a black and smokey an opal nethie are not with us today, however, before we lost Smokey we bonded her with Parsifal, a male rabbit who we had castrated.

From having my pets, I started to do some research on the internet and came across a website which showed me an insight into the world of showing rabbits. I went along to a couple of shows and I was welcomed by a great bunch of people.

My first show rabbits were a pair of marten sable netherland dwarfs called Buttons and Smartie. Being my first, they will always have a special place in my heart.

Since these early days I now have a stud of 12 Netherlands and I am concentrating on orange and black otter. Although I have recently had a lovely litter of Agouti’s which I am tempted by!
